Helping you with your wonderful rescue dog

In-person session are available in SW London. Online training is available via Zoom across the UK.

Welcoming a rescue dog into your home is a wonderful thing to do.

It’s hugely rewarding. Of course, it can also be enormously challenging and sometimes owners and dogs need support and a helping hand along the way.

I have experience of working with rescue dogs from various countries and backgrounds. The dogs in our family are all rescues with very different characters and struggles. I’m immensely grateful to them for all they’ve taught me.

I can support and guide you on your rescue journey, whether you are about to take the very first step or feel as though you are stuck in the foothills of a mountain which seems impossible to climb.

If it’s important to you to use only kind, modern techniques and to have a strong focus on the emotional state of your canine friend, then we may be a good match to work together.

“We now have a happy, bouncy dog”

“Sorrel came to the rescue when we took on a Tibetan Terrier that had been rejected by two previous owners. She showed us how to train and bond with our dog, and of course she trained us too! The result is a happy, bouncy dog who enjoys her walks and home routines.”

A bespoke service to meet the needs of your dog

Each dog is a unique, sentient being whose character and temperament has been strongly influenced by nature and nurture.

Rescue dogs are sometimes dealt a poor hand on both the nature and nurture fronts, which can result in quite complex needs and struggles.

There’s no one-size fits all approach to helping a rescue dog and its human family.

This is why my approach is bespoke.
